I hope you’re all enjoying what has turned out to be a lovely month of March so far (at least here in the Northwest)…
We’ve been spending quite a bit of time in our home recording studios over the past few weeks and we’re looking forward to releasing more new music soon – we just released one of our latest demos, “Oh, Louise” as a free download on our website, and we’ll be playing another couple of new tunes for the first time on Friday at the Doug Fir here in Portland. We freely admit it: we love playing new songs. It’s always fun when you’re trying something out for the first time in front of an audience, and we’re very much looking forward to this weekend of shows and trying out a couple of the newest songs.
I’m also happy to say that we just got a shipment of vinyl copies of our latest record, “The King Can Drink the Harbour Dry”, and for those in the area…we’ll have copies with us at the shows this weekend. For those not in the area, we’ll ship it to you…they’re available on our online store, just click the link below : )

I hope your week goes well and maybe we’ll see some of you this weekend? We’re at Doug Fir in Portland this Friday night (March 26th), and then off to Bend, OR on Saturday night – until then,
Johnny

Thanks to the kind folks at Indie Rock Cafe who, along with a very nice article and review, have given us their “Band of the Week” honors. They’ve got a great site and a nice collection of tunes from some great bands - click here to visit their page and read the article…
Hope your week is going well so far!
Johnny

Hi all – I hope this note finds you well – it’s been a busy year for us so far and we’re all glad to be back home for a Portland show at Holocene tonight (Friday night)…
We’ve been looking forward to this show from the moment it appeared on the calendar and we hope you can join us for a great night of music. If you are able to make it out, come up and say hi and congrats to Ryan – he and Kelly had a beautiful baby boy a couple of weeks ago and both Mom and baby are happy and healthy. And speaking of, this show will be Christi’s last show with us for a while as she and I are expecting our first…there most certainly is something in the water around here this winter : )
We’re looking forward to a fun night of music with good friends and a great stage to share it on – the show starts at 9pm and we’re on shortly after that, so come early! Have a great weekend and we hope to see you tonight at Holocene -
Johnny
Hi friends -
Just a quick note to say thanks to the kind folks at The Big Takeover magazine who put our new album, The King Can Drink the Harbour Dry, in their top 5 for their latest issue – the very cool music magazine is available at most major bookstores…

Thanks to Jack Rabid and co. at The Big Takeover and we very much hope to make it out to the east coast this summer – hope you all are having a great week and see you soon,
Johnny
